Welcome to Framed Passions. I’m Hussain M. Motiwala, the founder, artist, and fellow collector behind the brand.
For decades, my professional life has been rooted in the art and advertising industry, but my personal life has always been driven by a deep love for the open road. Whether it’s cars, motorcycles, or coastal cycling, I have always been fascinated by the mechanics and aesthetics of motion. As an avid collector of scale models and action figures, I spent years looking for ways to elevate my own collection.
After years of working in the corporate world, I decided it was time to build something of my own. Framed Passions was born in Mumbai in April 2024 out of a simple idea: to combine my background in commercial design with my love for collectibles, transforming incredible diecast models into premium, three-dimensional wall art.
The Craft: 100% Original, Zero Compromise I am proud to be the first in India to pioneer this commercial concept, leading a space where others now follow. When you purchase from Framed Passions, you are getting an original piece of art.
I design and build every single piece from scratch. I do not use internet templates or copy existing designs. Every poster backdrop is meticulously designed to match the unique personality of the vehicle -whether that means capturing the grid-ready energy of a Lewis Hamilton edition or the raw aggression of a supercar.
Authenticity You Can Trust. For fellow collectors, authenticity is everything. That is why every single vehicle featured in my artwork is an officially licensed, genuine brand, including models from Hot Wheels, Tomica, Mini GT, and more. Once the backdrop is designed and the licensed model is secured, the piece is mounted in premium, high-quality shadow box frames to ensure it stands the test of time.
