WHY THIS CULT CLASSIC BELONGS IN YOUR COLLECTION:
✅ THE PINK PIG LEGACY: This Majorette release pays tribute to the legendary *Porsche 917/20 “Pink Pig”* – one of motorsport’s most iconic and beloved liveries. The original 917/20 earned its nickname from its wide, porcine stance and was famously painted by designer Anatole Lapine with butcher-style meat cut labels (Rüssel, Haxen, Kotelett etc.) .
✅ MAJORETTE PREMIUM FEATURES: Reference number 209H features:
Authentic Pink Pig tribute livery with pork cut labels
Opening doors for detailed interior view
Working suspension and freewheeling mechanism
Officially licensed Porsche replica
✅ 50th ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE: Majorette released this tribute in 2020 to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary 917/20. While the casting is of a road-going GT3 RS, the tampo faithfully recreates the iconic pork cut labels that made the original Pink Pig so memorable.
✅ COLLECTOR’S APPEAL: The 209H casting appears in multiple colourways, including yellow and deep purple in the Porsche Edition 5-pack. The Pink Pig tribute remains one of the most sought-after variants due to its deep motorsport heritage.
🏎️ PERFECT FOR:
